Men of Consequence: Past/Present/Future

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, not merely a man, teacher, prophet, or moral example.
He is God made flesh, fully divine and fully human, entering history not to observe humanity, but to redeem it.

Christ is not God pretending to be man.
He is God choosing to become man.

His birth

Born of the Virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit, His life begins in humility. No throne. No army. No spectacle.
This was not weakness; it was intentional surrender. Heaven stepping into dirt.

His life

Jesus lived without sin.
He walked among fishermen, tax collectors, the sick, the outcast, and the broken.
He taught with authority, not borrowed wisdom.
He healed bodies, restored dignity, confronted hypocrisy, and called men to repentance and obedience.

He did not flatter power.
He did not chase popularity.
He spoke truth even when it guaranteed suffering.

His mission

His purpose was singular and eternal: to reconcile humanity to God.

Sin separated man from God.
No effort, law, or sacrifice of man could close that gap.

So Christ did what no man could do.

He became the perfect sacrifice, the atonement.

His death

Jesus was crucified, His atoning blood shed for our sins.

He was not a victim of circumstances, but by His own willing submission.
The cross was not an accident. It was the plan.

On the cross:

  • He bore the weight of sin

  • He absorbed divine justice

  • He satisfied what holiness required

“Paid in full” was not symbolic. It was final.

His resurrection

On the third day, He rose from the dead.

This is the cornerstone of the Christian faith.
Death was defeated.
Sin lost its authority.
The grave no longer has the final word.

He is seated at the right hand of God the Father in glory!

The resurrection is not metaphor.
It is victory.

His present role

Jesus Christ, reigns now:

  • As God

  • As Lord

  • As Savior

  • As King

  • As Mediator between God the Father and man

He intercedes for His people.
He builds His Church.
He will return, not as a suffering servant, but as a righteous judge and reigning King.

What He demands

Jesus does not ask for admiration.
He calls for repentance, surrender, and obedience.

To follow Christ is not to add religion to your life.
It is to lay your life down and be remade.

Are you willing to accept His invitation to surrender, or are you still rejecting His sacrifice?

The essence, stripped of noise

Jesus Christ is:

  • Truth embodied

  • Love made visible

  • Justice satisfied

  • Mercy extended

  • Authority absolute

He is not a symbol to be worn.
He is a King to be followed.

Merry Christmas and Sign Off Note

It’s hard to follow, after sharing Jesus Christ, with business, health, and other topics when the main purpose in this life and what truly matters is our connection to God and if we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

Because of this, we will conclude this edition.

Next week we will wrap up our last edition (100th) of The Consequential Chronicles and ways to stay connected.

Merry Christmas and many blessings to you and your families!
